WHAT WE DO
Our humanitarian action
We work in countries where healthcare systems are fragile, lacking, or under pressure, collaborating with partner hospitals to strengthen skills and infrastructure.
We operate in Burkina Faso, Benin, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, and other countries in Africa and the Middle East.

1 Free Specialized Surgery
Our volunteers—surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses—perform complex procedures on children affected by:
-
Cleft lip and palate
-
Craniofacial malformations
-
Severe burns and related complications
-
War injuries and trauma
-
Other disabling orthopedic or eye conditions
Each operation restores function, autonomy, and dignity.
It means being able to speak, eat, go to school, and dream.

2 Training Local Medical Staff
We believe in help that generates autonomy.
During each mission, we train:
-
Doctors
-
Anesthesiologists
-
Nurses
-
Health technicians
Through clinical mentoring, theoretical courses, and practical training, our specialists transfer essential skills to ensure continuity and sustainability of care even after we leave.
3 How a Mission Works
Each mission lasts around 7–10 days and includes:
-
Clinical selection of patients
-
Surgical procedures in the operating room
-
Post-operative care and follow-up
-
On-site training of healthcare staff
-
Logistical and organizational support
A typical mission involves 14 volunteers, including plastic and maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, nurses, and coordinators.
